Former reality TV star Whitney Port was spotted wearing this unusual-looking sundress while attending the 2012 Mara Hoffman Swim Show held in Miami last July.

As you can see, the dress looks rather unique, featuring pastel color blocks here and there, while a printed grey base keeps ‘em all together.

So here’s the question: do you think Whitney looks fantastic in that dress? Should she have worn something else?

We’re a little torn on this one, so we will ask you to decide. You see, although the dress is not exactly what you’d call sexy, it does look rather interesting. And perhaps, just perhaps, with the right pieces, that dress CAN work beautifully. What do you think?

If you love the dress’s unusual design, we’ll share the details on Rebecca Taylor’s floral printed halter dress (from the designer’s Resort 2012 collection).

It’s essentially a patchwork of blocks and prints. And although the front of the dress may not exactly be skin-revealing, the low back detail (more like backless, actually) will more than make up for it.

This isn’t exactly something you’d wear for winter, but if you’re already making that shopping list for spring, feel free to add the dress to your list if you like it. Also, here’s another Rebecca Taylor color block dress you can include:
