The year 2017 may only be halfway through, but we think we’ve already found the most lavish wedding of the year. Victoria Swarovski, the heiress of the Swarovski empire, tied the knot with fiancé Werner Mürz in a spectacular ceremony in Italy.
The gorgeous bride wore a couture gown from Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco, who is known for his opulent gowns. The designer created a stunning dress that quickly made headlines for all the right reasons. The gorgeous dress featured a jaw-dropping number of sparkling crystals all over, rightfully for the princess of the the Swarovski brand herself. The bedazzled bridal frock was decorated with 500,000 crystals and also featured an eight-meter sweeping veil.
With its dramatic train, jewelled embellishments and billowing skirt, the gown weighed 46 kilograms! And its price tag — a whopping $1.3 million!
