Sometimes, I get bored with all the dark colors floating around this season.
So when I saw Mrs. Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, don a tangerine orange dress for the International Herald Tribune Heritage Luxury Conference in London yesterday, I just had to write about it.

Seeing a pop of color during a season that calls for dark and muted hues is quite refreshing. And it becomes all the more interesting when the person wearing it is a style icon like Victoria Beckham. She completed the outfit with a pair of cap-toe pearl-embellished Chanel 2010 pumps.
The dress is very simple, I know. But it’s the bright color that holds the key to its appeal. If you wear something that vibrant, you don’t need it to be frilly. I also love how structured it is, the cuts, and the clean construction. It’s classic with a twist!
