We love our golden girl, Taylor Swift. But sometimes, we have to admit, the young crooner takes retro dressing a little too seriously, to the point of looking like a Nana. Would you agree?

For example, the outfit she wore to the Target-sponsored ‘RED’ Deluxe Edition CD release event held early this week. The cutie chose a dark teal taffeta dress that ended below the knees and capped it off with spiked see-through cap-toe heels from Christian Louboutin.

Indeed, there was nothing wrong with the whole combination except for the fact that we’ve seen the look too many times:

So what do you think? Is Taylor Swift’s prim retro style starting to get a little boring for you?

While some may want to think so, we can’t be too hasty with our judgment. After all, I love how she dresses more like a lady than a hot mess.

Besides, she did look quite lovely in the golden-yellow combo she had put together just a few hours earlier.

Now that’s more like it! While the dress is pretty simple, its refreshingly bright color and gorgeous print are more than make up for it!
