But now you don’t have to because the country cutie actually wore one to the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards held in Canada yesterday.

Taylor shed her usual style for a more daring black-and-white bandage dress, giving her pretty peep toes a day off to slip into strappy cage ‘Karina’ sandals from Christian Louboutin.

So, how do you like Taylor’s latest red carpet style? It’s a little hard to process, given how we’ve been so accustomed to her girly way of dressing, but it seems the young singer is telling us that she’s all grown up and ready to take on more daring outfits.
Now, speaking of the outfit, we can’t say we love it 100%, though we don’t hate it either. Bandage dresses are perfect for women with shapely figures. On the other hand, Taylor has a slim frame, and sadly, she didn’t fill out the dress enough to make it look va-va-voom. She might have also chosen the wrong neckline. An off-shoulder Herve Leger dress would have looked better on her.
