While not as star-studded as the other prestigious award shows, this year’s Tony Awards still kept the red carpet interesting with a string of celebrities in their fabulous and elegant frocks. It’s intriguing to see that most people opted for elegant, fully-covered gowns as befitted the event’s classy theme.
To us, these are the celebrities who appeared in their prettiest:

The 45-year-old donned a gorgeous, strapless Valentino Spring 2015 couture gown that she styled with a gold-toned clutch. Jennifer’s retro hairstyle and make-up suited the dress to perfection.

The High School Musical alum impressed in a Naeem Khan Spring 2015 pansy print halter gown that she styled with a Rodo crystal-covered tube clutch. Vanessa then styled her hair in milkmaid braids and donned minimal accessories and make-up.
3. Amanda Seyfried

The 23-year-old was a vision in a gilded Oscar de la Renta Fall 2015 cocktail dress that boasted of an off-the-shoulder top and fit-and-flare structure. We approve of her heavy eye make-up and Christian Louboutin “Maltaise” pumps.
4. Kelli O’Hara

The broadway actress was not just a big winner that night (she bagged the Best Actress award), she was also a big winner on the red carpet in this ethereal Oscar de la Renta lace gown. To complete her look, she went with a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals, a clutch and Fred Leighton jewelry.
5. Sutton Foster

This layers and layers of ombre fabric is a creation of Naeem Khan. The actress did it a lot of justice.

The svelte model was decked out in royal blue in this Marc Jacobs halter neck gown. We also love the drop earrings and the updo.

This Givenchy dress may not be as glitzy and glamorous as the other dresses, but it’s just as stunning. The slitted front and the one-shoulder structure have helped elevate it to red carpet status.
