The ladies in this WWIB post aren’t household names, but they’re the ones we first spotted wearing the Sass & Bide ‘Pick ‘N’ Mix’ strapless dress we’ve been eyeing at Shopbop for weeks.
First up is Sam Worthington’s girlfriend Crystal Humphries whom he took to the Los Angeles premiere of his latest movie ‘Man on A Ledge’. Crystal contrasted the somber colors on Sams’ outfit with the multicolored and multi-patterned Sass & Bide dress, which she paired with pastel yellow stud earrings, fuchsia pink almond toe pumps, newly washed hair and barely there makeup:

We then spotted the Sass & Bide dress on Britain’s Got Talent’s newest judge, Alesha Dixon. Ignoring the wintry temperatures, the singer/dancer bravely squeezed herself into the strapless mini dress. She teamed her frock with a curly hairdo and pastel-colored eyeshadow, lipstick and nail polish. The Christian Louboutin ‘Maggie’ platform pumps on her feet completed her look:

With its daring style, height-cutting embroidered belt pattern and hip-widening peplum, the Sass & Bide ‘Pick ‘N’ Mix’ strapless dress is one dress that’s difficult to look good in. Personally, I like Crystal Humphries’ fun accessories better but Alesha Dixon has better hair and makeup. But the dress itself doesn’t fit amazingly on either one of them so I’m still torn over this decision.
What about you, who do you think wore her Sass & Bide dress better, Crystal Humphries or Alesha Dixon?
The models modelling this very same Sass & Bide dress aren’t faring very well either. Only the Shopbop model (center) looks great in it while the other two either had to cover her waist or turn to her side.

The woven linen fabrication of this dress, which has the tendency to wrinkle and bunch up, also isn’t helping this dress’s cause. Perhaps something with a bit of stretch would be better? This is one of those dresses that looks deceptively stunning on the hanger but is actually quite hard to pull off.
