Many dress brands have already released versions of the trendy Stella McCartney polka dot mesh panel dress. She has created many variations of it for her Fall 2011 collection.

The revealing and figure-contouring dresses are such a hit that even though they’re “so last season,” many celebrities like Kate Winslet continue to wear them well into this spring/summer:

Sure, this dress is a mini, partly mesh, but do you know what would make it look less like a fall style and more like a summer dress?

If the neckline was lowered and it was made sleeveless like this ‘Party Spot’ dress we found at Nasty Gal:

You have to love this summery take on the Stella McCartney dress. Because it’s sleeveless, it’s easy to style as a day dress, probably with a cute jacket and a pair of suede booties.

And because it’s black, sleek, and oh-so-sexy, it’s also really easy to work as a nighttime dress.
