If we had a dime for every time someone showed up at an event wearing a sheer lace dress, we’d have more than enough cash to buy an Alexander McQueen dress by now.

Case in point, check out these celebrities that wore sheer lace ensembles to the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Gala. Who do you think looked best?

1. Kate Moss in Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2015 Dress

The 41-year-old showed off her modelesque figure in a McQueen creation. While I’m normally not a big fan of this trend, I think Kate looked amazing in this dress. She’s one of the few who can make a sheer dress look tasteful.

2. Poppy Delevingne Went Braless and Flashed High-Waisted Pants

Wearing a sheer Osman dress and going braless? Sounds like a recipe for a huge fashion disaster, doesn’t it?

While her outfit left little to the imagination, the slit sleeve detail of the dress amped up this sheer lace dress look.

3. Lady Mary Charteris Added a Tacky Belt

The model, who is also a member of the peerage, is no stranger to flesh exposure. Perhaps you remember her odd cut-out wedding dress that still baffles us to this day?

Unlike the previous two dresses with darker sheer lace, Mary’s had more see-through material, which made us wonder why she would wear it in public. The lace underwear, the strip of cloth that covered her breasts, and her choice of accessories (that choker!) made us gasp in dismay.

If you aren’t sick and tired of this trend yet, here are some sheer lace dresses you can try for yourself:
