Before Zooey Deschanel became the definition of “adorkable” on television, there was the one and only Sandra Bullock who was adoringly awkward in almost all of her famous roles — ‘Speed’, ‘Ms. Congeniality’, and ‘Two Weeks Notice’.
Now, Sandra is teaming up with another comedienne, Melissa McCarthy, in the action comedy ‘The Heat’. In an interview with ‘Parade’ magazine, Sandra voiced out her desire to work with McCarthy after seeing ‘Bridesmaids’ (“I’d seen ‘Bridesmaids’, and I said, ‘If Melissa McCarthy wants to work with me…'”) and how she’d always wanted to do some “girl on girl” on film (“I’ve always wanted to do a female buddy film, the kind the guys get to do.”).
After seeing the trailer for ‘The Heat’, I’d say wishes do come true:
