Whenever Rihanna bursts out in a heartfelt, post-break-up song, I envision her in a luxurious dress full of layers and train. You know, old-fashioned dramatic concert outfit. But since this is Rihanna, she was content with a printed shift dress worn with fishnet short tights.

At least, the 25-year-old pop singer is clothed, which is something that can’t be said with the other singers of the same genre. Plus, she is fully committed to her edgy style.
The shift dress is actually quite interesting, with its clover bottle print and dotted details. Just the right kitschy print for a Rihanna performance, we reckon. We can’t determine who its designer is, though, but do hit us up if you happen to know or find more information about the dress.
Note, too, that shift dresses are increasingly popular these days. Sure, they look like oversized shirts at times, but there are so many ways to style them and make them look like a million bucks. Their ’60s-inspired silhouette can now be incorporated even in modern ensembles. Rihanna wore hers with a green coat (not shown in the photos).
You can wear your own shift dress with a similar coat for the colder seasons, team it up with a collared top, and wear tights with it. You can wear sneakers, wedges, Mary Jane heels, what-have-you. There’s no end to the styling possibilities.
