This is perfect for those one-time-only events (weddings, debuts, or formal company parties) where you don’t really want to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress that you will most probably wear only once.
The website also features pictures of ladies who’ve rented their dresses to give you an idea about how they would fit certain body types.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Selecting
Choose your dress. Scan the racks filled with designer goodies and pick your poison. You are advised to do so at least one to two days before your event.
Step 2: Booking
Book it and choose between the four-day and eight-day rental periods.
Step 3: Receiving
Have a fabulous night! Your dress will arrive on or before 8 p.m. of your chosen delivery date.
Step 4: Returning
Slip the dress into the provided prepaid envelope. You don’t even have to take care of the dry cleaning!
Rent the Runway also provides a good selection of jewelry, handbags, and even underthings you may need for your dress.
