Is it just me? Or do you also think Rachel Zoe’s MET Gala wardrobe choice was a little off?

The renowned celebrity stylist wore a yellow-gold velvet creation by Marc Jacobs that had major detailing on the waist and literally made her look shapeless:

Rachel Zoe, Celebrity Stylist At Large, what were you thinking?

I know you like oversized things – from oversized rings, to oversized bangles, to oversized clutches; but an oversized waist at the MET? Tsk, tsk, tsk…

Not to mention, the heavy velvet fabric was a tad too much for her extra tiny frame. Velvet being a minor issue here, I think without the pockets, she would have looked so much better.

Had I been Rachel Zoe, I probably would have gone for a softer, lighter, feminine, and more flattering dress. How about you?
