Chloë Grace Moretz seems to be on a roll. With two movies this year and a NYLON magazine cover along the way, she is an unstoppable force. I’m not even surprised. With her looks, an obvious knack for fashion, and acting chops, she is living the Hollywood dream.
Since Chloe is the cover girl for May, she attended the annual NYLON Magazine Young Hollywood Party.
But along with Chloe, there was a string of “young Hollywood” actresses who gussied up in cute spring dresses and stunning shoes. Who do you think dressed the best?

It’s only fitting that we start with this month’s cover girl. What I really love about Chloe is that she dresses right for her age. She may occasionally show a penchant for vintage glam, but she still keeps everything youthful.
Her look at the party is a good example. She kept things youthful, cheerful, and fresh with a bubblegum pink gingham dress from the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Collection.
The dress is very demure with its high neckline and long sleeves, but it does not lack style, especially when Chloe pairs it with her cute Jimmy Choo bow pumps.

Hannah Marks really had spring in mind when she wore this mustard-printed dress. The bustier-type dress accentuated her figure. I only wish Hannah wore a better purse and shoes.

Coco went for a black printed dress. The print can’t be overlooked, but I’m not sure what’s going on with the black. It could be the flash of the camera, but the black parts of the dress look faded.

American businesswoman Caroline D’Amore took stripes to the next level. She wore an overly striped dress with a ruffled front. I have reservations about this dress.
It’s edgy but worn this way, it looks a bit costumey. It would have looked better had Caroline worn it with red accessories and a different hairdo.

The Michalka sisters were also in attendance. Aly chose this retro floral frock. The dress is cute.
Its print is definitely an ode to spring, but I’m not digging the shoes for the dress. I wish Aly chose heeled oxfords, perhaps in a mustard yellow tone. The fit also leaves something to be desired.

AJ seems to be better dressed than her sister. She also went for a floral dress, but its print is more red-carpet-worthy than Aly’s dress. Accessorizing with simple pumps and that shell-shaped clutch is also a good choice.

Camilla’s heavily ornate dress probably drew attention that night. However, I’m not too crazy about that cloud-printed band at the bottom of the dress. It looks out of place.
The verdict? I’d give the best-dressed award to NYLON’s May cover girl, Chloe Moretz. Her dress is cute, but Chloe did a great job making it much prettier with her styling choices. I feel happiness and a youthful vibe just looking at her.
