We haven’t even begun yet, but we think we can shut down the fashion posts for the 2014 People’s Choice Awards now because Nina Dobrev pretty much won the entire thing.
The Vampire Diaries actress basically blew everyone out of the water in her glittery, glitzy, and gorgeous Jenny Packham fall 2013 dress.
The half-embellished, half-plain long-sleeved frock managed to be over-the-top and sleek at the same time while also being ultra-sparkly without being princessy.

Nina accessorized with a Rauwolf mirror clutch and Charlotte Olympia “Tokyo” sandals, which were the very shoes that caused Julianne Moore’s “Toemaggedon,” aka the most embarrassing footwear fashion fail of 2013. Thankfully, Nina’s toes fared much better with the sandals’ straps.

Nina also really did win that night — she and ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder won the award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.
