Liv Tyler was spotted at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday. The actress looked gorgeous in a fitted floral frock as she attended an event sponsored by Magnum Ice Cream. She paired the dress with ankle-strap wooden sandals for an all-out spring getup.

The dress is from Tanya Taylor’s Spring 2013 collection. What we really love about it is how summery yet sophisticated and polished it looks. It’s floral, but it’s not too girly or frou frou. It doesn’t look too casual either, which is nice because you can use it for daytime cocktail gatherings as well. The only thing we probably would like to change about the dress is its length. It’s a little too long (and it will probably be much longer on someone petite), which isn’t good because unless you are as tall as Miranda Kerr, such a length can make you look short.
