Oprah managed to get a hold of a fresh-out-of-rehab Lindsay Lohan for what may be the interview of the year. Lindsay’s 90-day court-ordered rehabilitation just ended last Wednesday, but a video preview was out generating buzz for the interview as early as Monday.
In the clip’s short 15 seconds, Oprah is already shown throwing the questions we’ve all wanted to ask Lindsay Lohan, such as how it feels to be the face of “a child star gone wrong.” It shows great promise for a very entertaining interview, doesn’t it? Watch:
We know Lindsay has a penchant for putting on a certain image when she has to attend a court hearing, and it looks like this right-out-of-rehab interview with Oprah is no different. Lindsay laid the demureness on thick in her choice of a high-necked, cap-sleeved, fit-and-flare dress. Black-and-white polka-dotted pumps lent an air of playful innocence, and a high ponytail kept her look neat and clean.
But there was one detail in her prim and proper attire that Lindsay seemed to have overlooked, and that was her choice of dress color. Not a few websites are describing it as “prison orange.” It may have looked more like a cheery, bright yellow orange to Lindsay Lohan when the dress was still on the hanger.
Do you think Lindsay Lohan’s No. 21 orange fit-and-flare knit dress (available at Shopbop) was a good choice to wear to her Oprah interview or not? Don’t get us wrong; we think the color is great — just check them out on the dresses we’ve selected below — but it’s not exactly the color you want to wear when you’re trying to come off as innocent.
Lindsay Lohan’s interview with Oprah airs on August 18 on OWN.
