Is leather making a come back for fall? Well, looks like it. Countless celebrities and reality stars have been spotted in leather, or at least the look of leather of late.
The trend became even more obvious when we saw Emma Stone sashay through the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet last month in a black leather number. She sported a skin-tight leather mini-dress from Emilio Pucci and accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry and glittering Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

And we’re sure you’ve noticed that it’s not just leather that’s happening. It’s mixing leather with other details or elements like ruffles or lace. Do tell, what do you think of this trend? We know not many people can pull off wearing leather. How much more if it’s leather and lace or leather and ruffles, right?
Interestingly, the new mix is actually more wearable. It’s a tough chick meets girly girl kind of look, but also still very sexy. Sure, it still isn’t for the faint-hearted, but it’s a good start for those who would love to give leather a try.
