While Kristen Stewart may always look pained whenever she steps on the red carpet, you have to hand it to the girl for making an effort to pick the right pieces for her appearances.

The Chanel Spring 2008 Couture dress she wore to the MET Gala however, is not one of them. Kristen styled the black taffeta asymmetrical dress with Sergio Rossi heels and a Chanel clutch.

Tell me, what do you think of her look?
From the top, everything looks spot on until you see the bottom. I’m not exactly a fan of the see-through skirt. Can you honestly say you like it?
The bodice is beautiful, a little edgy, a little unusual, a little avant-garde, and definitely sexy. But once you look down, you get quite a surprise. The sheer “attachment” looks like it doesn’t even belong to the dress. There’s just something so off about it. I seriously think she would have looked so much better without it.
Of course, at the end of it all, it really depends on personal preference. If you like Kristen’s MET Gala style, you’ll need a good hairstylist to create those soft wavy curls; and be sure to make it look right by picking the perfect dress, whether it’s short or long.
