The 61-year-old American television personality attended the event to pay tribute to late patriarch Robert Kardashian. His legacy was celebrated with a heartfelt video tribute set to the soulful beats of Kanye West’s “Only One.”
“It’s a wonderful honor that they’re doing this for him, and I feel really excited and blessed that we’re here,” Kris Jenner said in an interview with E! News.
“I love supporting Denise Rich and everything that she’s done over the years. We’ve been here year after year coming to the event. It’s such a beautiful thing that she does in honor of her daughter. So, the fact that she’s including us is beyond.”

While the evening was supposed to mark the first public appearance from Kim Kardashian since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in early October, Kim ended up canceling following her husband Kanye West’s hospitalization for a psychiatric evaluation on Monday.
Kris dazzled on the red carpet in a floor-length, semi-sheer velvet black gown from Zuhair Murad.
During her touching speech, Kris emphasized Robert’s teachings on the essence of giving – a principle he passionately believed in and imparted to his children.
“One of the things [Robert] used to teach me and passed down to our children was about philanthropy and about giving and about doing it diligently, constantly, joyfully and generously… He taught me and them that no matter what you do in life… you give back and you do it without saying a word.”

In another red carpet interview, she commented on Kim Kardashian that “She’s [taking things] one step at a time. It’s a process.”
Regarding the cancellation of Kanye West’s tour, she added, “I think he’s exhausted. Just really tired. It’s a grueling tour.”
