Out for what couldn’t be anything else but a major photo-op, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted dining at the ritzy L’Avenue Restaurant and driving around in a $380,000 white Lamborghini with the top down in Paris, France last Sunday:
Kim Kardashian drew even more attention to themselves in the curve-flaunting military-inspired strapless dress she wore that day. She paired it with a slicked-back ponytail, black silk button boots, and a gold watch which served as her only jewelry.
Military was a major trend in 2010 — do you think Kim Kardashian is bringing or can bring this trend back in 2012? If she is, I think she could’ve done it with a better ensemble. Her dress’s material makes unsightly wrinkles practically everywhere and given her amazing shoe collection, we know she has choices of better-looking boots to wear.
I can’t say anything about her hair and make-up though. She has always looked flaw-free in the hair-pulled-back look.
What would you do with Kim Kardashian’s military-inspired style — SALUTE or SLAM?
It’s not a trend now, but military inspiration is always around in fashion. In fact, after just a quick search, I found plenty of military-style dresses including this cute button-vented dress from Tahari by Arthur S. Levine:
Tahari by Arthur S. Levine surplice woven shirtdress in olive, $129.00
But when military was a trend, our favorite dress from that time was something like this olive-colored dress from Alice + Olivia:
Alice + Olivia ruched one-shoulder dress in army, $275.00
If you’re like us and it’s only the shade of green that you like about the military trend, many dresses now, like this flounce-top maxi dress, sport that color:

Are you ready for a military trend comeback?
