Katy Perry was caught out on two separate nights with two different Alexanders while on her London stop. Fret not, Katycats, for the two Alexanders that we speak of are none other than Alexander Wang and Alexander McQueen. If anything, the adorable Katy Perry was actually on a date with newfound BFF Ellie Goulding. The two were spotted entering the 34 restaurant separately and exiting together.
The “Roar” singer slipped into a gorgeous beaded Alexander McQueen on her date night with Ellie, pairing it with some well-heeled Mary Janes and a brown Hermès Kelly bag. Katy also sported old rose red nails.

We have definitely seen more feminine silhouettes at Alexander McQueen since Sarah Burton stepped in as the new creative director following the young designer’s untimely death. Sarah Burton made sure to uphold the McQueen branding by giving this lovely fit-and-flare a shower of pearl studs at the yokes and shoulders in the true over-the-top McQueen fashion.
The next day, she was spotted outside the Kiss FM studios posing with fans and signing some autographs in a mint-and-black striped T by Alexander Wang dress, which she adorned with a Chanel belt. She completed her outfit with a fur jacket and “Dae” stretch over-the-knee boots by Alice + Olivia.

The mint-and-black palette reminds us a bit of Marc Jacobs, but Alexander Wang decided to put a softer flair to it by choosing thinner stripes. Quite like the sizing of the pearls on the McQueen, the stripes on this dress gets thicker around the yokes and shoulders, giving the dress a kind of ombré effect. The neckline and sleeve length make this dress a shoo-in for Katy’s love for vintage-style clothing.
