Karlie Kloss was white hot on the red carpet of the 89th annual Academy Awards. The 24-year-old model sauntered down the carpet in a column gown that reminded us a lot of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tom Ford gown from the 2012 Oscars, in fact.

Karlie’s version of the Oscars white dress was a classic Stella McCartney creation that featured a high neckline and a floor-length skirt rounded out with an asymmetrical cape detail.

Karlie styled her hair in side-swept waves, and added a pop of color to the blank slate with a bold orange lip. She completed her smile by doing the rest of her makeup in tangerine hues, adding a fun and youthful element to her classic look.

The avid baker and coder accessorized with jewels from Nirav Modi and the “Boite de Nuit” bag from Roger Vivier. She also wore a statement diamond choker from Nirav Modi, which — while cool — detracted from the rest of her elegant look.

Finally, Karlie completed her look with a blue ribbon pinned to her dress. The ribbon  — identical to one worn by Ruth Negga — was a way for Karlie to profess her support for the American Civil Liberties Union. Karlie was one of many celebrities — including Emma Roberts, Olivia Culpo and Emma Stone — to use the red carpet to make a political statement.

A week prior to the Oscars, Karlie attended a different red carpet event, and she did it in a completely different dress. Karlie opted for a risqué sheer black dress as she hosted a fundraising gala with fellow supermodel Natalia Vodianova at London’s Roundhouse.

Karlie and Natalia gathered together London’s finest to honor Natalie’s Naked Heart Foundation as part of the annual Fabulous Fund Fair. At the event, prominent names in the fashion industry offered their time and services to help charitable organizations. The event was both fun and charitable, so what’s not to love about it?

Miss Kloss was ever the showstopper in her skin-baring Louis Vuitton gown. The floor-length dress featured a crew neckline, long sleeves and a thigh-high slit. It also had padded shoulders, a ruffled hem and black piped detailing. Even with strategically-placed solid black panels positioned on her chest, Karlie still showed off a whole lot of sideboob.

The Victoria’s Secret model styled her hair in a simple side-swept ponytail, and kept her makeup simple with glossy pink lips. She completed her whole look with a simple pair of black pointy-toe pumps.

Karlie expressed her heartfelt admiration for Natalia using a post-event Instagram upload. The event seemed to be a hit! It raised more than $500,000, and 100 percent of the proceeds went to the Naked Heart Foundation.
