I’m sure you’ve heard Jessica Simpson was named by Us Weekly as Style Icon of the Year. Although a lot of people have questioned the choice, I’m just glad she got it.
For someone who has a booming fashion line (plus, of course, the singing), she deserves the title. Word has it that she is not just putting her name on the products but getting her feet wet in the business. Good job, Jessica!
Anyway, Us Weekly held a party last Tuesday, and as expected, Jess was there to represent. For the event, she wore a beautifully printed silk mini dress and paired it with sky-high platform wedge pumps.

What do you think of the look? Better yet, what do you think of that dress? What a beauty, right? The print is just so… fascinating.
It’s from Etro, if you must know. And with its clashing yet complementing colors, you could say it’s pure perfection. To be honest, I am not a fan of paisley prints, but Etro makes it look so attractive that I now have a change of heart.
Etro Printed Silk Mini Dress, $2,000
It’s an amazing frock that would go with almost anything – flats or heels, but the price is not exactly attainable for most people. I would love to give you a more affordable knockoff version, but such an item does not exist. Thankfully, multicolored print dresses are very abundant this season.
