How to Wear Ethereal Dresses Like a Runway Pro

Long ethereal frocks are always stunning regardless of the season. Unlike your typical summer maxi, these dresses are often a lot more dramatic, with more billowy silhouettes, gorgeous drape details, and even textured fabric. While this look may be a little more challenging to pull off, it is definitely not impossible to do.

Take inspiration from the spring/summer runway of fashion designer Leanne Marshall. If that name sounds familiar to you, you may remember her as the season 5 winner of Project Runway. Throughout the show, Marshall showcased dozens of her beautiful ethereal gowns. This enchanting look has been a specialty of the 34-year-old designer, and she is definitely doing it very well.

To copy this style, keep in mind that the key is to look soft and feminine. Make sure you choose a flowy long dress in a light color, and go for subtle makeup that highlights your best facial features. You can also wear a floral headpiece to complete the whole ensemble.
