By now, all of you must have seen the two-hour finale of Gossip Girl. What a show, right?! We can’t say we’re happy they ended it, but that episode was by far, one of the best; and one that we will definitely remember for sure.
We can’t help but feel a little sentimental as well. We’re not hardcore fans, but we seriously enjoyed the fashion. It’s undeniable how the show created a certain trend, much like the way Sex and the City did.

And the dresses, oh the dresses; we can’t say enough good things about the dresses featured on the show. Speaking of which, we’re actually going to talk about the stunning gowns Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen wore to their respective weddings in the finale.

Like their hair color and their personalities, the ladies wore two very different frocks. Blair (Leighton Meester) kept it really feminine and romantic by wearing an exquisite hand-beaded figure-skimming lace gown (in blue!) by Elie Saab when she tied the knot with Chuck.

Serena (Blake Lively) opted for a more glam and princess-worthy dress in gold and white from Georges Chakra Couture when she wed Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) five years later.

Hers was a strapless creation with a liquid gold bodice and a really poufy skirt.
Such fantabulous dresses, yes? They’re quite the eye candy, and both are equally stunning. If you had to pick between the two, whose dress would you go for?

Both gowns aren’t available online, but if there’s a Saks Fifth Avenue or a Nordstrom in your area, you can try your luck.
On a side note, if you’re looking to channel Blair’s ultra-feminine and romantic look for say, an upcoming black-tie event, try it with this beautiful beaded dress from Mignon:
