Who Is Best Dressed at the “Game of Thrones” Season 4 Premiere?

The cast of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones hit the red carpet for the show’s season 4 premiere on Tuesday (March 18), which was held at the Lincoln Center in New York. The ladies of Westeros set aside the family rivalry and glammed up for the event.

Who among these lovely ladies looked best?

Rose Leslie

Rose Leslie walked the red carpet sans her man candy, Jon Snow, and chose an ivory-colored Antonio Berardi dress with a lace bodice and a silk asymmetrical skirt. She finished this very feminine ensemble with soft sideswept curls and a pair of gold Jimmy Choo “Lance” sandals.

Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner

With all the sexified teenagers running around Hollywood these days, it’s definitely refreshing to see Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner dress their age.

Sixteen-year-old Maisie wore a white Peter Jensen dress with a puffy skirt detailed with rosette appliques. She added a bright pop of color to the look with her yellow pumps. Eighteen-year-old Sophie, on the other hand, opted for a patterned peplum dress from the Peter Pilotto Resort 2014 collection. The frock features geometric lines and layered panels. She styled the look with nude Loboutin pumps.

Carice van Houten

While most of her castmates opted for classic dresses, Carice went bold with a futuristic dress from the Christian Dior spring 2014 collection. The strapless metallic midi gown was styled with a bolt-studded blue metal belt and metallic blue Dior pumps to finish the futuristic ensemble. We’re not too sure about this look, but we applaud the actress’ bravery for trying! This is definitely not an easy dress to pull off!

Gwendoline Christie

Gwendoline cleaned up pretty well on the red carpet, and we are impressed. The statuesque blonde, who plays the very burly Brienne of Tarth in the show, laid down her armor and wore a sophisticated black-and-white number from the Giles fall 2014 collection. The satin frock is decorated with a black satin detail around the waist that drapes on the hip, making the look more interesting. She finished the ensemble with smokey eyes and black Louboutin pumps.

Lena Headey

The baddest Queen of Westeros, Lena Headey, wore a dramatic black gown from Jenny Packham’s fall 2013 collection. The full-length organza frock was the perfect choice for this girl, who was sporting multiple inks on her arms and a messy bob.

Emilia Clarke

The Khaleesi left her baby dragons and graced the red carpet in a belted handkerchief dress from Donna Karan’s fall 2014 collection. The flowy frock features a plunging halter neckline and a bare back. Emilia Clarke finished the look with vintage-styled curls, Fred Leighton jewels, and a pair of sexy single-strap sandals. We loved this dress on the runway, but it just didn’t translate that well on the actress’ petite frame. It would have looked a lot better with a shorter hemline!
