Gabourey Sidibe amped up her glam style on the red carpet of the Golden Globes.

American Horror Story: Coven, in which she portrays young inner-city witch Queenie, was nominated for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television but lost out to the HBO movie Behind the Candelabra.

The American Horror Story: Coven actress wore a custom-made ivory-colored gown by her stylist Daniel Musto and Michael Costello Couture. The frock features a gorgeous bodice embellishment and shiny satin-like fabric.

She accessorized the gown with Neil Lane jewelry, a Deepa Gurnani clutch, Jewelry by Gail hair pieces from Marilyn Monroe‘s personal collection, and silver Barefoot Tess shoes.

Although the 30-year-old star undoubtedly looked glamorous at the event, she still received a lot of hate for her weight. People posted nasty comments on social media platforms, calling Gaby out for being overweight and even putting the blame on her stylist.

The mean-spirited comments were quickly brushed off and shut down by Sidibe’s awesome tweet.

“To people making mean comments about my GG pics, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night. #JK,” she wrote in response to her body shamers.
