Spring is definitely in the air. Have you taken your favorite dresses out for a jaunt already? Here are two prints you’d like to wear this season — floral and tribal.
I’m not much of a tribal-print fan, but the dresses I found today at Nordstrom and Shopbop changed my mind. Tribal print bursting of colors can give the dainty and adorable floral print a run for its money.
Victoria Justice flaunted her legs in a colorful tribal print Pia Pauro dress at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards at USC Galen Center on March 23, 2013, in Los Angeles, California
Just like that, I found myself in a quandary as to which dress to pick if I’m given the chance to hoard. I just might get both in a heartbeat.
But what about you, ladies? If you are a fan of prints in general, which one do you love more? Floral or tribal?
Floral-Printed Dresses
1. Nicholas Tapestry-Print Scuba Skater Dress, $370
There’s a reason why this dress only has one left in stock. The print of the dress speaks for itself. You just want to stare at it like how you would stare at a painting in a museum.
2. Thakoon Open-Back Sleeveless Dress, $1,250
The print isn’t the only thing to love about this dress. The silhouette is also flattering, and the cut is sleek and faultless. Wear it with pointy-toe pumps for a chic look.
3. Zimmermann Dazed Botanical Twist Dress, $695
Who said a dress has to be busy with flowers for it to be perfect for spring? One like this is enough of a scene-stealer.
I adore the choice of flowers. I adore the intricate twists of the dress even more. The skirt even reminds me of a tulip.
4. Cacharel Poplin Dress, $1,050
The watercolor blooms at the top of the dress that cascades to the skirt captures and holds attention. It is a unique dress you’d definitely exhaust wearing this season.
Tribal-Print Dresses
1. MSGM 3D Ikat Shift Dress, $638
Here’s the dress that won me over to tribal prints. You can’t miss the femininity of this dress.
The colors are so fresh that one immediately feels awash with breezy sensations just seeing it. The print isn’t overly tribal but makes a statement all the same.
2. MSGM Ikat Shirtdress, $598
A little sis to the previous dress, this one shares the same cute print but boasts of a more vibrant color scheme. It’s one that can instantly uplift your mood.
3. Mara Hoffman Safari Dress, $275
Make this your most interesting spring season yet by donning the above cute tribal-print dress and wearing it with basic blue sneakers and an oversized cardigan.
4. Free People Mirror Maze Swing Dress, $400
Say hello to this piece. Wear it with a biker jacket and some combat boots, or go feminine with pumps and cardigan.
So, which is it, ladies? Tell me which of these dresses won you over.
