We knew that eDressMe was going to be one of the first retailers to sell a copy of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress online, but they really exceeded our expectations with this one!
Not only do they have Kate Middleton’s wedding dress, but they also now have Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress. As you may well know, both of their dresses are by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. These copies are by New York-based evening wear label, Faviana.
Here are the originals:
Catherine Middleton arrives at Westminster Abbey with her sister and Maid of Honour Pippa Middleton to marry Prince William on April 29, 2011
And here are the copies:

Do you think Faviana did a good job of copying the dresses from the Royal Wedding of the Century?
Well, they didn’t really quite get the fullness of the skirt on Kate Middleton’s dress, but maybe it’s meant to be worn with something like a petticoat underneath. After all, even Kate Middleton’s dress had to be padded; we’re just not sure if it was the dress that carried that padding or if it was on Kate Middleton herself!
They did a better copy of Pippa Middleton’s dress, we gotta admit. Even without the lace details along the neckline and the sleeves, it looks exquisite.
Now, as for how closely these dresses are going to give us that slim Middleton figure, well, that’s really all going to be on us. Kate’s dress is going to need about a hundred thousand waist-whittling crunches; Pippa’s, about the same number of butt-busting squats.
Brides planning to get both of these dresses for their own weddings, make sure that your date isn’t set until the first week of October at the earliest. Yes, the Kate Middleton dress is already available, but your bridesmaid won’t get Pippa Middleton’s dress until after September 20th!
