In 2010, Emma Watson joined in with the festival spirit at Glastonbury Festival by having a temporary ‘Mother Lover’ tattoo done on her left arm and shoulder. Fake tattoos usually last up to 14 days and fade as your skin naturally regenerates.

In 2018, she created headlines with her grammatically incorrect Time’s Up tattoo at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The phrase was missing an apostrophe.

The typo was quickly pointed out on social media, and Emma took to Twitter to react to the mistake.

“Fake tattoo proofreading position available. Experience with apostrophes a must,” she tweeted. Are you surprised the Brown-educated, self-identified book worm didn’t notice the typo?

Does Emma Watson have permanent tattoos?

As of 2020, Emma Watson is not known to have any permanent tattoos. She has had fun with temporary tattoos and even attempted to make a political statement at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but so far her body art has turned out to be temporary artwork.

The scattered star tattoos on Watson’s lower stomach on the cover of British GQ‘s May 2013 issue were also confirmed to be fake.
