Do you watch ‘Revenge’? Season 2 just started. Did you catch the first episode? I can’t say I’m a die-hard fan, but I love the lead heroine, Emily VanCamp.

I think she’s pretty captivating; off camera, the blonde beauty seems to exude innate grace. I also like her taste in fashion. Except for the one she pulled this weekend at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards.

The actress arrived at the event in a rosy red leather-like dress fashioned with a bubble skirt and cascading ruffle detail.

She unexpectedly styled the dress with a moss green textured belt, Sydney Evan earrings, a Nikki Baker ring, and a tight bun and capped off the look with black peep toes from Valentino.

Do you like the look? I seriously can’t decide whether to love the outfit or not. On the one hand, she’s gorgeous, as always. But on the other hand, I find the whole combo a little off. Could it be the hair? Should she have worn it down? Is it the belt?

Maybe it’s the bubble skirt. That makes her look more like a prom princess than a Hollywood star. What do you think, ladies? Is Emily VanCamp looking red hot…or not?

The dress, by the way, is by Andrew Gn. It is quite pretty, but it will probably look better on someone else, yes? Maybe on the likes of Taylor Swift…

For Emily, however, I think a classic sheath (with her hair down) like the Calvin Klein below would be perfect. And if she wants something a little different, Diane von Furstenberg’s ‘Bowman’ dress would also be a unique but elegant choice. Do you think these picks are spot-on, or would you rather see her in something else?
