I was very thrilled to hear that Zac Posen has partnered with Target for an exclusive yet highly accessible line. Last month, the designer unveiled his collection for the giant retailer through a chic and cozy party.
Of course, Zac Posen fans – models and celebrities alike, were not only there to make an appearance, but also to get first dibs on the designer’s collection.

Notable among the attendees were Maggie Gyllenhaal, Claire Danes, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michelle Trachtenberg, Selma Blair, and supermodels Coco Rocha and Alek Wek.

It was, however, Claire Danes who caught my eye. The actress wore a long and bright printed number from the new label and simply looked delightful. The dress did wonders to her pale skin and strawberry blonde hair:

Seeing it up close was even more of a delight as I found it to be printed with what looked like multicolored cigarette sticks! How quirky!
The only thing I probably would like to change in Claire’s outfit is the belt. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean remove it. I mean replace it with something thicker and less textured.
Pretty as she is, Claire’s body has a long-waisted torso. To balance this, she should have worn a thicker belt with the dress; and with the busy print, the belt should have been the opposite – plain and simple.
