There were so many awesome, sexy and shocking Halloween costumes Hollywood celebrities came up with this year that we had a hard time choosing which ones to include in our list.

The stars did a great job of outdoing their costumes last year and gave us an eyeful of outfits to remember.

Here are 12 of the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2016.

Leona Lewis and her date, producer and choreographer Dennis Jauch, received metallic makeovers with their statue-like costumes. The singer was almost unrecognizable with her head-to-toe golden look.

2. Emily Ratajkowski as Cleopatra

Emily Ratajkowski channeled Cleopatra as a sexy Egyptian queen in a metallic sheer bodysuit and a black wig.

3. Ariel Winter as Olive Penderghast

Ariel Winter donned several costumes for Halloween, but our favorite is her “Easy A” ensemble. She showed off her va-va-voom curves as Olive Penderghast in a corset, hot pants, and platform heels.

4. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

Khloe Kardashian sported a super sexy leather costume and nailed her mutant look as Storm, complete with silver hair and white contacts.

Boyfriend Tristan Thompson dressed up as Black Panther, and the couple posted a sweet pose on Instagram.

5. Kelly Ripa and Jerry O’Connell

Kelly Ripa and new co-host Jerry O’Connell also donned a couple of interesting costumes for the “Live with Kelly” show.

One of their standout looks was that of Harley Quinn and the Joker, which the two playfully debuted on the show’s red carpet.

6. Ellen as Sia

Ellen DeGeneres was joined by Heidi Klum as the two performed the hit song “Chandelier” as Sia and Maddie Ziegler.

The dance moves could use some polishing, but they definitely nailed the look!

“Sia and I have a whole lot in common. She’s Australian, and I married an Australian. And we both like to swing from a chandelier. Which is why I’m no longer welcome at Bed, Bath, and Beyond,” DeGeneres joked.

7. Katy Perry as Hillary Clinton

Katy Perry went a little political with her pal Michael Kives and did a stunning impression of Hillary and Bill Clinton.

The real Hillary was apparently impressed with Katy’s transformation when she was shown a photo of the singer in the Hillary costume and makeup.

8. Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson

The amazing Bette Midler gave everyone a bit of nostalgia as she brought back her iconic character Winifred “Winnie” Sanderson from Hocus Pocus.

Rumors are also swirling around that Bette is pushing for a sequel to the classic film. We’d definitely love to see that!

The royal family of hip-hop enjoyed their Halloween festivities while also making a strong statement about African American culture.

12. Heidi Klum With Halloween Clones

Supermodel Heidi Klum has been dubbed as the Queen of Halloween in our books because she never fails to wow us with her costumes year after year.

Heidi once again won Halloween with a clone posse that followed her around the whole night.

According to makeup effects artist Mike Marino, who applied prosthetics to Heidi’s clones, the whole ensemble cost around $10 million!
