Cate Blanchett is known for her style bravado on the red carpet. This 44-year-old actress never shies away from bold looks, making her the perfect muse for high-fashion designers.
At the Beauty in Wonderland exhibit during Milan Fashion Week, Cate strutted her stuff in a fabulous feathery number by Prabal Gurung. This is definitely not your typical red carpet dress, but the Australian actress and theatre director had no problem rocking the look. She styled the dress with a pair of black Roger Vivier peep-toe pumps.

The plumy dress features a polished halter-neck bodice and a fluffy skirt made of ostrich feathers. Although this is an out-of-the-ordinary look, we think the execution was done perfectly. The red, black, and white colorway is also very striking. And because it is a combination of the fabulous and the quirky, it’s also quite fitting for the “Wonderland” event.
