Industry pros like the Hadid sisters, Kendall Jenner and — of course — the Victoria’s Secret Angels might be dominating the runways these days, but they’ve got nothing on the true queen of the runway, Carmen Dell’Orefice. The 85-year-old model, who is known as the “World’s Oldest Working Model,” recently proved that fashion has no age limit.
Carmen closed the Guo Pei couture show in the best way possible: In a fierce blood-red gown accompanied by two young male models dressed as princes. The highly-embellished couture lace gown she was wearing featured crystals, sequins and even spikes and wires. A long structured lace cape trailed the stunning dress, and the look was finished off with a red crystal headpiece.
