The Cannes Film Festival is becoming more and more like a fashion event than a film event. Every year, the dresses seem to get more bold, the jewels more lavish. We’re not really complaining, we are totally loving this glamorous sartorial display.
Here are some of our favorite gowns from the prestigious film festival.
1. Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner showed off her flawless kegs in a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture piece. The dress featured a very short hemline, but had a dramatic long train that flowed beautifully on the red carpet. She also sported a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals with granny socks.

2. Emily Ratajkowski
Model Emily Ratajkowski threw in some edginess to her sexy sheer custom Peter Dundas ensemble. The sheer lace creation she donned wasn’t exactly a dress, but rather, more of a combination bodysuit and gown.

3. Winnie Harlow
Supermodel Winnie Harlow’s Zuhair Murad gown was definitely one of our favorites. The sapphire blue ball gown featured shimmering details and a stunning train and skirt that just wowed the crowd.

4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a sight to behold in a show-stopping Michael Cinco ball gown. The stunning piece was highly decorated with frosted leaf patterns and sparkling crystal embellishments. Aishwarya definitely had a Cinderella moment on the red carpet.

5. Bella Hadid
Bella Hadid has a number of risqué ensembles in her book but we love it when she wears classy, sophisticated dresses. The model rocked a fierce red quilted Dior Haute Couture gown, which she styled with Bulgari Serpenti jewels.
