I consider Camilla Belle as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces. This girl is a classic. She reminds me of Natalie Wood, but much prettier. And when it comes to dressing, she has always made the right choices. Take for example, the YSL Edition Soir 2010 collection gown she wore to the Armida gala premiere at the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
The American actress carried a YSL ivory gold trimmed clutch and completed the outfit with black strappy sandals.

I love the dress, very romantic and dreamy. I usually don’t like bows on dresses, but the black on the empire bodice blended with the band so well, making it less of a decoration and more as part of the whole gown. The uneven tulip-shaped raw-edged chiffon layering also made Camilla look soft and delicate – a great complement to her strong features and thick signature eyebrows.
On a side note, there are a few details about the gown that I wish I could change. I wish the hem at the front went all the way down to the floor. The tea length, though it showed her dainty little feet and sexy sandals, made her look a little short. I am also not a fan of the appliqués attached to the beaded bodice. Those two look just a tad out of place.
Other than that, I think the dress is a true masterpiece! Two years later, Chloe Moretz wore the same dress in a different color to attend the exact same event. She accessorized with a gorgeous ribbon necklace.
