We used to think lace dresses with bow accents were better reserved for younger actresses.
It seemed like fresh faces such as Chloë Grace Moretz or Kiernan Shipka were the only ones who could possibly get away with wearing anything with dainty bow details.
But after seeing Jessica Biel and Jennifer Lopez rock these bow and lace dresses, we mentally kicked this fashion stereotype.
I mean, can you say anything bad about these two? Their outfits have absolutely no traces of juvenile flair!

Of course, the 34-year-old — with hubby Justin Timberlake in tow — attended the Tribeca Film Festival in this Self Portrait Pre-Fall 2016 lace LBD accentuated with a dainty bow at the neckline.

We would have preferred a bolder lip color for this look, as Jessica looked a tad pale in contrast to the dress but other than that, she looked spot-on.

2. Jennifer Lopez’s Daring Outfit on Live With Kelly and Michael

Lopez made the dress look edgier in true JLo fashion by teaming it up with knee-high Christian Louboutin Ladyboot platform boots.
The Shotgun Wedding actress was there to promote the new season of her show “Shades Of Blue” and engaged in a game called ‘J Lo or J No’ with the hosts.
She shared her opinions on topics like Spanx, singing in the shower, and carbohydrates, giving them a ‘J Lo’ rating. The Cell actress expressed disapproval of man buns and sexting.

Jennifer, a busy single mom, talked about her numerous roles, including being an executive producer and judge on “American Idol” and having a Vegas show. She mentioned that her job allows her to share unique experiences with her children, despite the challenges of being a working mother.
She sometimes takes photos of her sleeping children to let them know she checks on them, especially when she arrives home after they’ve gone to bed. J Lo revealed that her eight-year-old twins support her career, and her daughter enjoys watching her perform.
While her kids have talent, she’s unsure if they will follow in their parents’ footsteps and pursue singing careers like their Latino superstar father, Marc Anthony.

Picking between these two looks is hard! We think both celebs did a great job wearing this trend. We think Jessica had a feminine look, while Jennifer ensured the dress stood out with edgier styling.
