American fashion designer Vera Wang just released her collection of bridal pieces for fall, and guess what? They’re all in black with tinges of nude.

The complete line is a little haunting to look at, maybe even a little goth, but it is also very refreshing to see bridal gowns not painted in stark white, cream, or ivory.

I personally wouldn’t mind donning any of the black dresses from this collection if I had the chance to tie the knot all over again.

How about you? Would you wear one of Vera Wang’s black gowns on your big day? Before you give me that answer, here’s a quick glance at some of the pieces this very influential designer created:

Simply exquisite, yes? They’re deconstructed and delightful! Sorry for gushing, but I’m a big fan. How about that answer: would you wear any of these black dresses for your wedding?

I say, why not? Break tradition for once and be unique. These wedding gowns are not yet available, but if your wedding date is set for next year, why not visit the nearest Vera Wang Bridal Salon to pre-order it?

If you can’t wait because you’re getting married soon, then head over to Mytheresa or Nordstrom and grab any of these black pieces instead:
