Here’s a list of the things that made this year’s amfAR’s Annual Cinema Against AIDS, held last May 24 during the 66th Cannes Film Festival, a truly memorable event.

1. A perfect red (in this case, blue) carpet style

We are, of course, referring to Adrien Brody’s dapper look. The man wasn’t wearing a dress, but we just had to feature him here. Hmmm, Adrien Brody, so dreamy.

2. Proof that there is climate change

Hey, the erratic weather can be confusing for supermodels, too. That day, Joan Smalls couldn’t decide if she was feeling warm or cold, so she decided to mix things up with her outfit. The model wore a long-sleeved top to keep her upper half warm and a sheer skirt to keep the lower part of her body breezy. We can’t explain the belt though.

3. The revelation that Paris Hilton is dating a gentleman

River Viiperi helped fix Paris Hilton’s dress upon arriving at the gala:

He was also photographed carrying the train of Paris’ gown down the blue carpet.

Too bad the guy isn’t a fashion designer; he could’ve helped her completely by making her a better dress than the pink Falcuni & Peacock gown she wore to the event.

6. An actress who looked like a cartoon character

Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie Bennett in the hit TV show Vampire Diaries, went for a dark look at the gala. She had on a black feathered gown by Marchesa and purple lipstick.

7. A man who clearly knows shoes

… because he designs them for a living.
