Too often, we think of celebrities being all about the glitz and glam. With big paychecks and lavish lifestyles, these stars are usually seen in the most expensive designer garbs that we could never afford. But there are still special moments when we get to see them wearing normal clothes, reminding us that, at the end of the day, they are just like us.
Here are seven famous faces who so proudly rocked unbelievably cheap dresses:
1. Taylor Swift in Miss Patina London
Pop Princess Taylor Swift is no stranger to wearing high-low fashion. The 25-year-old singer often sports affordable dresses and throws in designer handbags or shoes to balance her ensembles. A fan of the preppy look, Taylor was spotted wearing a collared dress from Miss Patina, a London-based brand. The cute frock was less than $100.

2. Beyonce in Topshop
If Queen Bey thinks it’s okay to wear bargain dresses, then who are we to argue? At the Topshop Topman flagship store opening on 5th Avenue, Beyonce stunned in a sequined number from Topshop. The mini dress, which was only $130, sold out quickly after it made headlines.

3. Selena Gomez in ASOS
Selena Gomez recently posted a photo on Instagram in which she is wearing a very summery frock. With a filtered finish and some strategic posing, the pic gives a quite dramatic vibe. The bohemian dress is from ASOS and costs only about $70.

4. Kate Middleton in ASOS Maternity Collection
Known for her simple but lovely taste in fashion, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing an ASOS maternity dress last month when she visited the Brookhill Children’s Centre in London. The polka-dotted dress features a very flattering silhouette for pregnant women. Unsurprisingly, the dress is now sold out after being seen on Kate, but we found a great steal, which you can check out below.

5. Jessica Chastain in H&M
No one could have predicted that Jessica Chastain would be wearing an H&M dress to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The gorgeous actress made a bold statement with her $299 dress from the brand’s Conscious Collection, which promotes sustainable fashion. While most celebrities scrambled to get their hands on the most expensive dresses for the Oscar season, this girl won our hearts by choosing differently.

6. Nicole Richie in H&M
Fashion expert Nicole Richie proved that anything can look expensive when styled properly. At last year’s Baby2Baby Gala, the #CandidlyNicole star wore an H&M turtleneck dress that she styled with a floor-length caped coat, a pair of Louboutin heels, and edgy makeup. The H&M dress was only $39.90, but this diva made it look like a high-end Tom Ford piece.

Orange Is the New Black star Taylor Schilling looked amazing in a multicolored floral dress at the Peter Pilotto for Target launch party. The brand’s 60-piece collection launched last year features flirty, feminine clothing that are budget-friendly. Taylor’s floral frock is unbelievably only $34.99! Unfortunately, it is no longer available, but below is a lovely alternative.
