No, the High School Musical princess has not decided to change careers just yet. Vanessa Hudgens simply showed her support for WWE and E! Entertainment by making an appearance at their joint “Superstars for Hope” event in honor of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Moments after the singer-actress stepped onto the red carpet, WWE Diva Layla El dropped to her knees and started worshiping the stunned but laughing Hudgens. She also gamely posed with WWE’s Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Fellow songster Christina Milian also attended the event.

Vanessa chose an intricate dress from Temperley London, which she wore with black YSL pumps, accessories from Anita Ko, Coomi, and H Stern, and an Edie Parker clutch.

Vanessa channeled Frida Kahlo by putting her newly ombréd hair up into a braided updo.

The actress tweeted, “Loved my hair last night. #braids.” While we agree that the braids are pretty and totally characteristic of Ms. Hudgens’ boho taste, we found it a bit peculiar with the Cate Blanchett–like-dress.

We could not locate the source of the young actress’ gorgeous mesh-and-embroidery dress, so we took it upon ourselves to find similar dresses in the same combination of golden tones and black.
