Shailene Woodley has had many successful films in her comparatively short career. You would think this means she’d be a natural at the red carpet by now, but her past spotlight appearances weren’t really up to par. If anything, Shailene landed in more worst-dressed lists than best-dressed.
This time, though, it seems like the 24-yer-old made a good sartorial decision with this Elie Saab couture gown at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. But then again, it’s hard to go wrong with an Elie Saab gown.

Shailene was at the festival for the promotion of her new movie “Snowden, which is a film adaptation of the books “The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man” written by Luke Harding and “Time of the Octopus” written by Anatoly Kucherena. The movie also stars actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zachary Quinto and Nicolas Cage.
The Elie Saab gown she wore successfully highlighted her toned figure. It is a halter-style dress that features intricate beaded detailing and accessorized with a skinny belt, a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and John Hardy jewelry. We think this is a great look from Shailene, perhaps one of the best we’ve seen on her in a while.
