Salma Hayek absolutely exuded gothic vibes at the 89th Annual Academy Awards as she sauntered down the red carpet in a sultry look from Alexander McQueen. The actress joined fellow stunners Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron on the red carpet, giving us much to “ooh” and “aah” over.

We’ve seen Salma in plenty of show-stopping looks before, but this one was flawless. The 50-year-old actress wore a bespoke black lace Alexander McQueen gown to the prestigious awards ceremony. The sheer panel on the bodice showed a hint of skin and the plunging neckline displayed plenty of cleavage, but a nude liner beneath the black lace kept everything covered up. In addition, her sleeveless gown boasted beaded embellishments and a floor-length skirt.

Salma kept her styling simple with a black clutch and diamond jewels from Fred Leighton. She completed her look with a gorgeous diamond headband, which kept her long waves in place.

Husband François-Henri Pinault was not around to accompany her, but that did not stop Salma from having a grand time. The Mexican film star and producer shared a photo of her and Eugenio Lopez on the way to the ceremony, and she also posed with award-winning music producer Pharrell Williams at the star-studded event.
