In January 2014, it was all over the news — Paula Patton and Robin Thicke were splitting up!

Thicke, who served as Miley Cyrus’ twerking partner at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, was reportedly trying to win back his wife of 8 years, but Paula seemed to be dead set on her decision.

The reason for their breakup — aside from that raunchy “Blurred Lines” performance that the whole world (unfortunately) saw, sources say that Robin had cheated on Paula on multiple occasions.

E! Online published a photo showing Robin Thicke putting his hand on a Lana Scolaro’s butt at the MTV VMAs after-party.

‘I knew his hand was on my butt. I posted it on Instagram and didn’t notice the reflection. But someone noticed it and commented. I was just like, “Oh I’ll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke, like everybody else,”‘ the blonde student told Celebuzz, adding, ‘I didn’t think it would cause this much drama. I didn’t know it would be all over everything like this.’

According to Us Weekly, Robin Thicke was also investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services following allegations of child abuse. He had allegedly spanked the couple’s son, Julian Fuego Thicke.

While both Patton and Thicke have moved on, we’d like to revisit their happier moments on the red carpet, focusing on Paula’s style.

The 2 Guns star has a penchant for bold looks, and although she is hit-and-miss on the red carpet, she is undoubtedly a gorgeous woman.

1. Paula in Nicolas Jebran

This zebra-print gown had Paula topping a lot of “Worst-Dressed Lists.”

And understandably so because the head-to-toe print is very hard to pull off. The two roaring lions on the neckline didn’t help either.

2. Paula in Mirelle Dagher

This was definitely one of Paula’s better looks on the red carpet.

The Mirelle Dagher dress showed off a number of her best assets — her arms, cleavage, and legs — but it still looked pretty classy.

We love how she styled her hair, and the nude pointed-toe pumps sealed the look.

3. Paula in Lever Couture

This Lever Couture Fall 2011 dress is another bold look from Paula, and we think she pulled it off.

The gown features a high-shine finish and raw edges with sequined pailette strips all over. To amp up the sexy factor, Paula posed with her leg peeking out of the thigh-high slit.
