Maria Menounos, the gorgeous ‘Extra’ host, showed her support for the LGBT community as the grand marshal of the 2013 LA Gay Pride Festival. She had the perfect outfit for it, too: a rainbow-striped dress.

Technically a top and a separate skirt, the dress is ultimately sexy and cute at the same time. The top is a lovely structured bustier, while the skirt has a fit-and-flare style. The pieces feature stripes in primary colors, which is just the thing for such a colorful and merry event. We also love how the stripes look like they’ve been drawn and colored in by crayons!

Maria did well to match the striking dress with a pair of nude wedges and gold jewelry. The result is a festive outfit that is not over-the-top. The bustier is called Zora, while the skirt is named Maryna, and both are by Alice + Olivia. If you feel like throwing on a festive vibe yourself, you can find these pieces at Amazon.

Maria Menounos is very much involved in raising awareness of issues that affect the LGBT community, including anti-bullying, HIV/AIDS, and marriage equality. According to LA Pride, Menounos was chosen “for her dedication to the LGBT community and her continuing efforts using her platform for equality.”
