Model Lara Bingle accompanied boyfriend Sam Worthington to the premiere of his new movie, Sabotage, at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Even though Sam was the star, all eyes were on Lara in the standout dress she chose to wear that evening. Whether she stood out for the right or wrong reasons is something that needs to be discussed.

The base of Lara’s Dion Lee Fall 2014 dress was a white bandeau bralette top and a white pencil skirt that gave glimpses of Lara’s midriff section.

Nothing shocking there as belly-baring crop-top dresses are model staples and current mainstays on the red carpet. What made the look confusing was the beading that crossed over the front of the dress. Composed of skinny silver tubes, the embellishment looked as if it were pixelating or censoring parts of Lara’s body.

It didn’t help that Lara was showing major boobage in the dress.

Oh well, at least the two looked really happy to be together that night.

Australian designer Dion Lee used silver beading treatment on a number of his Fall 2014 dresses. Truth be told, the treatment looked cutting-edge and fashion-forward on the runway models, so maybe the style just isn’t cut out for Lara Bingle.
