Kendall Jenner recently celebrated her 21st birthday and she chose the perfect party dress for the special day. The American fashion model and television personality took inspiration from the ultimate party girl Paris Hilton and commissioned Lebanese designer Antoine Salameh of LaBourjoisie to craft a custom birthday dress to wear for her 1920s-themed party.
The custom-made LaBourjoisie features Swarovski crystals all over and reportedly costs a whopping $9,000! Kendall styled the sparkling mini dress with barely-there heels, a Lucite clutch and a furry wrap. According to the designer, it took two weeks to create Kendall’s dress, and the birthday girl knew exactly what she wanted with the design.
It looks like Kendall was paying homage to hotel heiress Paris Hilton by copying her sparkling dress, which the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton also wore for her 21st birthday back in 2002. Kendall proudly shared her inspiration on Instagram, posting a picture of her in the frock now dubbed as “the perfect party dress” with a caption that read “vintage Paris Hilton vibes. 21 21.”
