Spanish fashion house Mango signed Kendall as the new face of their “Tribal Spirit” campaign.

This new collection is inspired by the rich and exotic culture of the African Savannah and features striking details that depict the tribal spirit of the African culture.

While Kendall’s name and popularity definitely pull in a large audience, she may not be the right model for this campaign.

Many people felt strongly that a model of color should represent an African-themed collection. People took to their social media accounts to express their outrage at this culturally insensitive choice, but Mango stands by their decision.
